TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic high pressure system will generate moderate easterly winds across the Lesser Antilles during the forecast period. Shallow cloud patches drifting along this wind flow will cause a few cloudy periods with widely scattered showers over the region during the next 24 hours.

An area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 21 mph or 33 km/h. This system is no longer showing signs of further development during the next five days.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic, is also moving westward near 21 mph or 33 km/h.

A third tropical wave is forecast to emerge off the west coast of Africa early next week. Some gradual development of this wave is possible during the next five days, while it moves generally westward across the eastern tropical Atlantic.
