TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moist and unstable conditions associated with the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone  will continue to affect the Windward Islands and areas further south during the forecast period.

The broad area of low pressure located over the central Tropical Atlantic has become Tropical Depression Eleven. At 5:00 pm today the center of Tropical Depression Eleven was located near latitude 16.7 degrees north, longitude 34.7 degrees west. The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 10 mph or 17 km/h and is expected to remain over the open ocean during the next few days until it dissipates.

A tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.
