A tropical wave will produce cloudiness, showers and possibly thunderstorms over the Lesser Antilles, from this evening into tomorrow.

…..Tropical Storm Bret moving westward across the Tropical Atlantic…..

At 11:00 am today, the centre of Tropical Storm Bret was located near Latitude 11.9 degrees north, Longitude 47.0 degrees west or about 945 miles or 1525 kilometers east of the Windward Islands. Bret is moving toward the west near 21 mph or 33 km/h and this motion is expected to continue for the next several days. On this forecast track, the center of Bret could move across portions of the Lesser Antilles by Thursday afternoon and Thursday night. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph or 65 km/h, with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days. Interests in the Lesser Antilles should monitor the progress of this system. Tropical storm watches may be required for some islands later today or tonight.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 13 mph or 20 km/h. This system has a high chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next seven days.
