Moisture and instability lingering over the Eastern Caribbean following the passage of Tropical Storm Bret, will cause occasional cloudy periods with some scattered showers over the region during the forecast period.

…Tropical Storm Cindy not expected to affect the Lesser Antilles…

At 11:00 am today, the center of Tropical Storm Cindy was located near latitude 16.4 degrees north, longitude 53.3 degrees west. Cindy is moving toward the northwest near 20 mph or 31 km/h and this motion is expected to continue over the next few days. On the forecast track, the system is expected to remain well east and northeast of the northern Leeward Islands through early next week. Maximum sustained winds remain near 60 mph or 95 km/h with higher gusts. Some gradual weakening is forecast over the next several days.

A tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 6 mph or 9 km/h.
