TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in air quality and visibility across the region during the next few days.

Lingering moisture and instability in the atmosphere over the northern portion of the region, will continue to cause some scattered showers over the Leeward and northern Windward Islands today.

The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone will continue to cause some cloudy periods with showers and isolated thunderstorms, over the southern portion of the region during the forecast period.

A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave is expected to cause heavy showers and thunderstorms over our region from tomorrow.

A broad area of low pressure located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving west-northwest near 13 mph or 20 km/h. This system has a medium chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next 2 days.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, is associated with a broad area of low pressure and is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h. This system also has a medium chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next 2 days.
