times, periods of rain and possibly isolated thunderstorms at first.
A gradual improvement in conditions is expected from late tonight into

FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES
Generally cloudy skies with scattered moderate to heavy showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
A strong tropical wave will continue to cause an increase in cloudiness, moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Lesser Antilles during the forecast period. This wave has a high chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next 48 hours. Interests in the region should continue to monitor the progress of this system.

At 11:00 am today, the centre of Tropical Depression Six was located near latitude 16.8 North, longitude 53.7 West or about 625 miles or 1010 kilometres east of the northern Leeward Islands. The depression is moving toward the west near 12 mph or 19 km/h. Tropical Depression Six is expected dissipate by tomorrow. Interests in the Leeward Islands should continue to monitor the progress of this system.

Tropical Storm Emily has formed…
At 11:00 am today, the centre of Tropical Storm Emily was located near latitude 19.5 North, longitude 38.8 West. Emily is moving toward the west-northwest near 10 mph 17 km/h and this motion is expected to continue for the next several days. Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph or 85 km/h with higher gusts. Little change in strength forecast today followed by gradual weakening. Tropical Storm Emily does not pose any direct threat to the Lesser Antilles.

Another tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system has a low chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next 48 hours.
