TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Light and variable winds will continue across the Lesser Antilles during the next couple of days.

Moisture and instability associated with an area of low pressure located just east of the Lesser Antilles, will continue to cause cloudiness with showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Windward Islands during the next 24 hours.


A low pressure system associated with a tropical wave, located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system has a medium chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next seven days.


At 11:00 am today, the centre of Tropical Storm Franklin was located near latitude 21.8 North, Longitude 67.8 west or about 215 miles or 340 kilometres east of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Franklin is moving toward the east-southeast near 5 mph or 7 km/h and does not pose a threat to the Lesser Antilles.
