TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate moderate easterly to east-southeasterly winds across the region during the next few days. Patches of low-level clouds drifting along this wind flow will cause a few showers over the region during the forecast period.

A trough system embedded in the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone is located in the western tropical Atlantic.  This system could generate some cloudy periods, scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over the extreme southern portion of the Lesser Antilles from Monday evening.

A tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system has a high chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next seven days.
