The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate moderate easterly to east-southeasterly winds across the region during the next few days. Patches of low-level clouds drifting along this wind flow will cause a few light showers over the region, during the forecast period.
A surface trough located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is expect to affect the extreme southern portion of the region by Tuesday. A tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This system has a high chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next seven days.
