FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the southern Windward Islands and areas further south, partly cloudy to cloudy and hazy with scattered showers. Further north, fair to partly cloudy and hazy, with a few brief showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A moderate easterly wind flow is expected across the Eastern Caribbean region, during the forecast period. Moist and unstable conditions in the lower atmosphere over the southern portion of the region, will cause some scattered showers over the southernmost islands of the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.

A plume of Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across the region, during the forecast period.

A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is expected to affect our region from late Sunday into Monday.

Another tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is also moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
