TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Atlantic High-Pressure System will generate moderate easterly winds and maintain generally stable conditions over the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period.
A plume of Saharan dust haze will cause a reduction in air quality across the region during the next 24 hours.
A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave is expected to produce cloudiness, periods of heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms, across the central and southern portions of Lesser Antilles, from late Wednesday into Thursday.
An area of low pressure located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic, is producing disorganised shower and thunderstorm activity. Environmental conditions appear conducive for gradual development, and this system is likely to become a tropical depression during the next day or two while it moves westward to
west-northwestward across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic.
