FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy and hazy, occasionally becoming cloudy with some scattered showers over the Leeward Islands. Further south, fair to partly cloudy and hazy with a few isolated showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

An upper level trough and jet stream will continue to cause cloudiness with some scattered showers over the northern half of the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.

High pressure throughout the atmosphere over the southern portion of the region, will cause generally dry conditions over that area during the forecast period.

Saharan dust haze will continue to reduce visibility and air quality across the Eastern Caribbean region during the next couple of days.

A tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the region on Sunday.

Another tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is also moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
