TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK 

Moist and unstable conditions over the Eastern Caribbean region will cause some cloudy periods with scattered showers over the islands during the next 24 hours.

A tropical wave located over the western tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h. This wave is expected to begin affecting the islands from tomorrow.  

Another tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.

Saharan dust haze will cause a reduction in visibility and air quality over our region during the forecast period.

The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange. Interests in Saint Lucia and the South-Eastern Caribbean region are advised to continue monitoring official sources for updates.
