FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the southern Windward Islands and areas further south, generally cloudy skies with scattered showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms, Elsewhere, fair to occasionally cloudy skies with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK 

Moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave, just east of the islands, will generate cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours. This wave is expected to move slowly west near 10 mph or 17 km/h. Further development of this system is unlikely as it moves into an area of unfavourable conditions.

Two other tropical waves located over the central and eastern Tropical Atlantic are also moving slowly westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.

The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange.
