TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High Pressure system will generate moderate to brisk easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean region during the next 24 hours. Low level cloud patches drifting along this wind flow, will cause a few scattered showers over the region during the forecast period.

An approaching tropical wave begin affecting the extreme southern portion of the Eastern Caribbean during the next 24 to 36 hours.

Two other tropical waves located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next 5 days.

The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange.
