Moisture and instability associated with newly formed Tropical Storm Grace, will cause cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands, during the next 24 hours.

At 5:00 am today, the center of Tropical Storm Grace was located near latitude 15.8 North, longitude 55.6 W or about 420 miles or 675 Km east of the Leeward Islands. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph or 65 km/h, with higher gusts. Grace is moving westward at about 22 mph or 35 km/h. On this forecast track, the center of the storm is forecast to move over the Leeward Islands tonight. Some strengthening of the storm is forecast during the next few days. Interests in the Leeward Islands should continue to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Grace.
A tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h.
