Moist and unstable conditions will continue to generate some cloudy periods with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period.
A tropical wave located over the western Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the Lesser Antilles from late today into Saturday.
At 5:00 am today, the center of Tropical Storm Victor was located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic near latitude 11.7 degrees north, longitude 32.3 degrees west. Victor is moving towards the northwest near 15 mph or 24 km/h. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph or 95 km/h, with higher gusts.
Victor is expected to remain over the open Atlantic and poses no threat to the Lesser Antilles.
