TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A strong tropical wave located about 900 miles east-southeast of the southern Windward Islands, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. Environmental conditions appear conducive for further development and a tropical depression is likely to form during the next couple of days. This system is forecast to reach the Windward Islands on Tuesday night and move over the south eastern Caribbean Sea on Wednesday and Thursday. Interest in the Windward Islands should monitor the progress of this system.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave has a low chance of further development during the next five days.

A third tropical wave just off the west African coast is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h.
