FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES
Over the Windward islands, partly cloudy to cloudy at times with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, fair to partly cloudy skies with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A strong tropical wave located about 750 miles east-southeast of the Saint Lucia, is moving westward near 21 mph or 33 km/h. Environmental conditions appear conducive for further development and this system will likely become a storm within the next 48 hours. This system is forecast to reach the Windward Islands on Tuesday night and move over the south eastern Caribbean Sea on Wednesday and Thursday.

A severe weather advisory has been issued for Saint Lucia from late Tuesday night to 4:00 pm on Wednesday. Tropical storm warnings have been issued for Trinidad and Tobago, and Grenada and its dependencies. Interests in the Windward Islands should continue to monitor the progress of this system.

Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 23 mph or 27 km/h. This wave has a low chance of further development during the next five days.

A third tropical wave, located over the eastern tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h.
