FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Fair skies, becoming cloudy at times with widely scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A weak tropical wave will cause some scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the southern half of the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.

A broad area of low pressure, associated with a tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic, 

is moving slowly westward at 5 to 10 mph or 7 to 17 km/h. This system has a high chance of tropical cyclone development during the next five days and is expected to be in the vicinity of the Leeward Islands next weekend.

A third tropical wave is forecast to move off the west coast of Africa tomorrow. Some slow development of this system is expected during the next five days while it moves westward over the eastern tropical Atlantic.
