TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
A weak tropical wave, will continue to cause some scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the southern half of the Lesser Antilles today.
A broad area of low pressure, associated with a tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is moving slowly westward at 5 to 10 mph or 7 to 17 km/h. This system has a high chance of tropical cyclone development during the next five days and is expected to be in the vicinity of the Leeward Islands over the weekend.
A third tropical wave is forecast to move off the west coast of Africa later today or tonight. Some gradual development of this system is possible after that time, while it moves generally westward across the eastern Tropical Atlantic.
