TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moist and unstable conditions associated with the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone  over the Windward Islands, and a mid to upper-level trough over the Leeward Islands, will continue to produce cloudiness, showers and thunderstorms over our region during the forecast period.

At 11:00 am today, the centre of Tropical Depression Eleven was located near latitude 19.1 degrees north, longitude 37.4 degrees west. The depression is moving toward the northwest at 14 mph or 22 km/h and is expected to remain over the open ocean until it dissipates whitin the next day or two.

A tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.
