The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate light to moderate easterly winds across the Lesser Antilles over the next few days. Low-level clouds drifting along this wind flow, will cause a few isolated showers over the region during the forecast period. At 11:00 am today, the center of Tropical Depression Sean was located near latitude 17.7 degrees north, longitude 47.1 degrees west or about 1050 miles or 1690 kilometers east of the northern Leeward Islands. Sean is moving toward the west-northwest near 10 mph or 17 km/h. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 30 mph or 45 km/h, with higher gusts. Additional weakening is anticipated and Sean is forecast to dissipate by Monday.
