Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph or 85 km/h, with higher gusts. On the forecast track, the center of peter is expected to pass well north of the northern Leeward Islands on Monday and Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph or 75 km/h, with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast through today. Some slight weakening is expected tonight, into Monday. Interests in the Leeward Islands should continue to monitor the progress of this system.

At 11:00 am today, the center of Tropical Depression Seventeen was located near latitude 13.2 north, longitude 28.8 west. The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 14 mph or 22 km/h and this motion is expected to continue today.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph or 55 km/h, with higher gusts. Some strengthening is expected over the next couple days and the depression could become a tropical storm tonight or Monday. This system is expected to remain over the Tropical Atlantic over the next few days and pose no threat to our region.

Peter is moving toward the northwest near 15 mph or 24 km/h and this motion is expected to continue this morning. On this track, peter is expected to pass north of the northern Leeward Islands on Monday and Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph or 65 km/h, with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next day or so, followed by slow weakening by late Monday and Tuesday. Interests in the Leeward Islands should continue to monitor the progress of this system.
