FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered light to moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moisture and instability in the wake of a tropical wave moving away from the Lesser Antilles will continue to produce occasional cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over region during the next 24 hours.

A plume of Saharan dust haze trailing the tropical wave is expected to reduce visibility and air quality over our region for the next few days.

Two other tropical waves located over the central and far eastern Tropical Atlantic are moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next 5 days.

The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange.
