Partly cloudy to cloudy and hazy skies with some scattered showers. A chance of isolated thunderstorms may be possible over the Leeward islands.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

An upper level trough will continue to cause cloudiness, isolated thunderstorms and showers over the northern half of the Lesser Antilles. Further south, low level clouds drifting along the wind flow, will cause some showers over the islands during the forecast period.

Two tropical waves located over the central and far eastern Tropical Atlantic, are moving westward near 23 and 17 mph or 37 and 28 km/h, respectively.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next two days.

Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across our region, during the next few days.

The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange. Interests in Saint Lucia and the South-Eastern Caribbean region are advised to continue monitoring official sources for updates.
